Table 6 Brunch

August 25, 2010

So, the place to see, and be seen, out for brunch on Sunday mornings is apparently Table 6. My friend Renee Mudd of The Intersection was in town a couple weekends ago and we decided to brunch it out. Not only is the food amazing, the blueberry french toast was scrumptious, and the staff attentive, thanks for those goblets of mimosas, but the people watching is fun too! I’m pretty sure I spotted Denver stylist Tobie Orr, of Riverfront Fashion fame, in a little, blue cotton dress with a Louis Vuitton backpack at the table across the way. There’s a dj spinning great tunes, and a photographer bopping around from table to table to snap your picture before you leave. Almost forgot one of my favorite things about Table 6, they serve up a mean cup of joe by using beans roasted by local coffee company, and personal friends of ours, Novo Coffee. See more photos of brunch at Table 6 here. Photos below by Renee Mudd.

FFFfffff…..Friends who Know Fashion!

July 23, 2010

Happy Friday! Sorry about the lack of posts as of late. I have been a busy bee this summer. A trip to Mexico got me engaged, immediately took a weekend trip to Steamboat to play bridesmaid for a good friend and now headed to Vail for the fiance’s soccer tournament. I haven’t dismissed Facebook Fashion Fridays, they’ll just be little nuggets of inspiration doled out here and there. So without further ado, I give you my dear friend Renee Mudd, of The-Intersection, Denver Examiner, photographer, Ideal Woman spokeswoman, and prior Denver gallivanting fame. She has moved on from whimsical afternoons drinking cider beer at Riverfront Park, and chumming it up at Forest Room Five and Colt and Gray to adventures in NYC where she’s taken her grandiose ideas and big talent for lifestyle branding with her. Her love of confidence and character are evident in her ability to take risks with accessories. The whole nerdy frames thing, think Elber Elbaz of Lanvin or Marc Jacobs’ runway, Renee has executed effortlessly. Fur hats that look like kittens and turbans meant for House of Waris jeweler-types, Ms. Mudd aces accessories, proving she’s a genuine, style star. Here are a few rare fashion moments captured in front of the lens.
