Scheduled to Meet Carol Ann Wachter, a Denver Designer

See this dress?  I am looking forward to meeting the designer who made it, Carol Ann Wachter.  I first saw her geometric blouses and skirts hanging at Goldyn boutique in Lohi maybe a year ago.  Turns out, she wouldn’t be much of a Denver secret for long as she was just awarded the FGI’s Rising Star design award a couple of weeks ago for top designer.  You can congratulate her in person this Thursday at her trunk show at another favorite local boutique, A. Line.  Find Carol Ann Wachter on Facebook to follow her next moves.  Flag her, bookmark her, remember her name- she’s got major talent and we’re proud that she came from our own back yard!  If you’re looking for a fast fashion fix or trend piece, she is not the designer for you.  I found this quote from Carol Ann on Slow Fashioned’s site, “I believe clothes should last for years. I am against this throw away culture of constantly buying new trends, I feel a women should build a wardrobe to enhance her life not spend her whole life shopping. I am convinced that you should buy less and buy quality.”  However, if you are in the market for a fabulous fall coat like the one below, purchase a CAW.

What: A Trunk Show
When:Thursday, September 26, 6-9pm

Where: 5375 Landmark Place, Suite 107, Greenwood Village, CO 80111
Meet the designer, shop the collection and enjoy complimentary sips & nibbles at A Line Boutique
