And with a new camera comes more photos of yours truly, trying to do her fashion blogger best by showing you what she wears! Please don’t judge horrible, un-model like stance and general awkwardness.
So yesterday, I headed into the office wearing a J.Crew pencil skirt (Spring 2011), with a chambray button down tied in a knot (thrifted), and a scarf by Marni for H&M. Owl belt from Target and awesome lion- door-knocker earrings by local jeweler Madeleine O’Connell Leopard loafers are by Candies from Kohl’s and handbag is Rebecca Minkoff.
***In other news…I just discovered a couple amazing blogs and have become enamored. Laura of Ascot Friday for her amazing bohemian vibe (channeling Erin Wasson), and her boys are equally stylish and adorable too! Laura lives in SoCal and I think she works at, or did, for Anthropologie which makes complete sartorial sense. Laura also has an amazing Instagram (@ascotfriday) and a thing for thrifting too. Then there’s Beth Jones of B. Jones Style for her high-low, thrifting/styling awesomeness. Beth was also featured in Apartment Therapy for her cool interior design sense too- such a pisser when they’re blessed with great style sense through and through. Plus, not only does Beth, also a southern Cali girl, have panache for thrifting like me, she’s married to a teacher too! Besties across boarders?!
