Jessica Stam: The Debut Issue of Vogue Turkey


Having a deep love of the Arab and Mediterranean cultures, I was excited to see Conde Nast expanding into the Turkish market. Using a London based design firm, Foxall Associates, who filled the pages of Vogue Turkey with images that represent Turkish culture yes, but also with styling that would also appeal to a Brazilian who might pick up the glossy in the busy city of Sao Paulo. The end result overall was a global feel, and the cover also stands out, lacking any copy, sans headlines, emphasizing the gorgeous Jessica Stam. Apparently the choice of the model, not celebrity, is due to her popularity in the region. Read more here.
