The accompanying article attached to the last photo sums up Battaglia’s style, classic. She mentions she is not the rock and roll girl, but the one who tends to vere towards the staples, classics. You won’t catch her in shoulder pads or anything close to the 80’s trends, but in monogrammed shirts, watches and even a Roger Vivier purse, you just might. Her shirt in the last photo was designed by her and she had a Milanese shop make it. She says that if you invest in an Alaia dress, “You’ll never be alone.” For those of us who cannot quite afford such an extravagant and special purchase, I suggest scouring E-bay, or, simply getting a classic cut LBD, in a well draped fabric. Giovanna also mentions her shoe collection of more than 352 pairs! From what she’s photographed wearing, that could be several years’ worth of salary for most, but that’s why I love finding Giovanna in images, it’s the whole “a girl can dream” fantasy.
