I was in a vintage vibe today and the weather could NOT have been more beautiful to bust out this light weight, gypsy-like number. I first wore this thrifted dress earlier this summer to an event, pre-preggo, but it’s been on my mind to wear it now during maternity because of the elastic waist, which I scrunched up above the bump, perfect length and flowy forgiveness. I wore it with maroon tights from Target, (surprisingly they are the regular Merona tights, not maternity) and Nine West boots found at TJ Maxx last fall. The Cleo Fringe Statement earrings by Stella and Dot, a vintage toggle chain, and a collection of vintage, thrifted and gifted bangles and voila! I had a wonderful lunch with a friend and her beautiful, sweet, sweet 4 month old baby boy today at Parisi in the Highlands (44th & Tennyson). It was such a casual vibe, but delicious, authentic Italian eats, and this 30 week bump did not hold back! I must have been hungry because before lunch I stepped into Kid to Kid, a children’s consignment shop near my home, and scored a nearly brand new copy of, “The Baby and Toddler Cookbook” for just $2.99! Hopefully it will inspire me to dish up some yumminess for the babe! Hope you were able to get out for a bit and enjoy this gorgeous weather, the calm before the storm as they say! If you are a mommy, did you make your own baby food? Have any good tips or recipes?!
