Happy Friday! Sorry about the lack of posts as of late. I have been a busy bee this summer. A trip to Mexico got me engaged, immediately took a weekend trip to Steamboat to play bridesmaid for a good friend and now headed to Vail for the fiance’s soccer tournament. I haven’t dismissed Facebook Fashion Fridays, they’ll just be little nuggets of inspiration doled out here and there. So without further ado, I give you my dear friend Renee Mudd, of The-Intersection, Denver Examiner, photographer, Ideal Woman spokeswoman, and prior Denver gallivanting fame. She has moved on from whimsical afternoons drinking cider beer at Riverfront Park, and chumming it up at Forest Room Five and Colt and Gray to adventures in NYC where she’s taken her grandiose ideas and big talent for lifestyle branding with her. Her love of confidence and character are evident in her ability to take risks with accessories. The whole nerdy frames thing, think Elber Elbaz of Lanvin or Marc Jacobs’ runway, Renee has executed effortlessly. Fur hats that look like kittens and turbans meant for House of Waris jeweler-types, Ms. Mudd aces accessories, proving she’s a genuine, style star. Here are a few rare fashion moments captured in front of the lens.

I love, love, LOVE the high ballerina bun with the serious jacket and glasses. The red hair really makes the look ( I miss mine
) One question though, can a Denver girl really rock the Mark Jacobs look and not freeze?

Yes, she is a friend of mine, however, I did not get inspired by her for my own blog, but from reading other fashion sites like the Sartorialist and The Cut, and others. I went to Fashion Merchandising school in San Francisco and have been into fashion since childhood.
